Jay Goeppner and Friends:
Jay has performed in 20 countries (including Liverpool, England during “International Beatles Week”) with his John Lennon tribute band – “Backdated.” During normal times, “Backdated” performs as a classic rock band in bars and at festivals all over the Chicagoland area. Jay is also a member of the legendary Chicago “Beatle Brothers” who were prominent features on the Jonathon Brandmeier Show. Videos can still be found on You Tube.
Cox’s Army:
Formed locally in 1969 with original members: John Feiza, Larry Zimmer, Ken Clark, Dave Johnson, and Dick Strohmenger. The band played clubs, high schools, colleges, concert halls, and festivals across the United States. Dan Moulton replaced Dave Johnson on drums and soon after Ken Clark left. The band recorded an album with Chapparrel records in 1971. George Millspaugh joined the band on guitar and vocals after the album was released and in 1972 the band went its separate ways.
Emanon II (featuring Joe Cuttone of The Hounds):
Formed out of St. Charles High School in the early 1980’s Emanon II was touted as one of the “up and coming bands” in the Chicago area. Emanon headlined all over Chicagoland, Wisconsin, and Indiana plus the Fox River Valley with weekly performances at Malo’s in Aurora and Master Jack’s in St Charles. Emanon shared stages with Survivor, Off Broadway, The Hounds, Moonlight Drive, The Boyzz. Joining Emanon will be legendary Chicago bass player: Joe Cuttone of The Hounds with who he recorded the albums for Columbia Records in Los Angeles, California. The members have will be coming back to Batavia to perform together live for the first time in over 40 years!
Rob Post Band:
Formed in 2012, ROB POST BAND is a diverse, high-energy, fun, party band, playing the truest in classic rock music with a nice mix of current favorites. The Elk Grove based band includes singer Jim Cunningham, bassist Marty Barlow, Batavia’s very own guitarist Jason Dodd and drummer Joe Smith. Original drummer and founder Rob Post retired and moved away in 2017. The quartet has quickly become one of the most popular bar and fest bands in the suburbs. Their set list changes significantly for each show. “Shout outs” and requests are always encouraged, as this band can play it all. Currently performing songs by Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Clapton, Tom Petty, Bob Seger, The Monkees, Ramones, Beatles & Stones.
