John Freedlund Memorial Golf Tournament

Nearly $10,000 in Batavia boys’ basketball scholarships have been awarded since 2022 through the John Freedlund Memorial Scholarship. The Batavia Moose Legion is committed to keeping his memory alive. A lifelong resident of Batavia, John was a member of the famous 1960’s Batavia HS basketball teams, and an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather. He was an active member of Batavia Moose 682, The Moose Legion, and The Turners. John had a passion for sports, especially Batavia Basketball.
